In this interview with Radio Intereconomía, Ernesto Gallardo, CEO of Monex in Spain, reviews the company’s first year of activity following the granting of its licences, while also outlining the group’s growth expectations and future plans.
Monex, a leader in foreign exchange and international payments, has extensive experience in the financial sector and remains focused on delivering an increasingly specialised service, with technology playing a key role in improving efficiency and enhancing the client experience.
“This has been the year in which we have truly begun operating under our licences,”
explains Ernesto Gallardo.
The CEO outlines what holding these licences entails and how this is reflected in the company’s service offering:
It gives us the right to offer a range of products and provide specific services. In our case, we carry out international payments with FX hedging solutions and, through our securities company, execute derivatives transactions for our clients, whether professional or corporate.
Gallardo highlights the positive performance over the year and points to the strong market reception:
We are very satisfied, as we have a solid number of clients to whom we are accountable, and the response has been very positive.
This first year of regulated activity reinforces Monex’s positioning as a strategic partner for companies with international requirements, consolidating its presence in Spain and laying the foundations for sustained growth in an increasingly demanding financial environment.
